RingLead is proud to announce the newest addition to our product lineup: Dupe Creator (Beta). Brought to you by the same company who has been cleaning up duplicates in your Salesforce database since 2004, Dupe Creator allows you to easily double or triple the number of Leads, Contacts and Accounts in Salesforce.
Dupe Creator comes with built-in reporting so that you can show your CMO and CEO how great your demand generation program is going. Dupe Creator uses RingLead’s advanced duplicate detection algorithm, but reverses our normal process of preventing duplicates, and instead creates a new record with a similar name, slightly different e-mail address and a randomized spelling of the company name (ie. “Sterling Cooper Draper Price” or “S.C.D.P.”) Your sales team will be able to make twice as many phone calls and send twice as many emails due to the drastic increase in Lead quantity.
Peter Venkman, head of product strategy at RingLead, was hesitant to design and build a product that created duplicates, which is a strong departure from RingLead’s core business, which is removing and preventing duplicates. “At first we were dumbfounded, but we’ve gotten a lot of requests from customers and prospects who wanted a very simple tool allowing them to do the exact opposite of what RingLead was designed to do. They were saying ‘Yeah, we’ve been using RingLead for years and our sales and marketing teams get along great. So let’s put an end to that, and just create a whole bunch of duplicate records.'”
“We’ve worked really hard to build Dupe Creator” said Robert California, Director of CRM Disfunction at RingLead. “A lot of marketers just want to drastically inflate their pipelines, so they asked us to create this app and we were happy to comply. ”
Robert expanded on the extended functionality of the applications: “Like the rest of our apps, it integrates directly with Marketo, Eloqua and Pardot, so you can be sure that you’ve created duplicates in both systems. Marketers really love that feature.”
