- How do I connect RingLead DMS to my Salesforce account?
RingLead makes it easy using Salesforce Oauth secure technology. Simply log on to dms.ringlead.com with your credentials. Then, on the left toolbar, click Salesforce in Connections. Then press New Salesforce Connection and enter your Salesforce connection name, which will prompt you to login to your Salesforce. Wait for the “status” bar to say “active,” and then your Salesforce account will be all ready to go with your RingLead DMS account.
- How do I install Capture, the RingLead Chrome browser plugin?

- How do I stop spam in my web forms?
Often times, web form spam submissions are similar in nature, and RingLead can match and prevent duplicate web form spam Leads. To set this up, create a Salesforce Queue “RingLead Spam Leads”. If the first Lead is assigned to this Salesforce Queue, any subsequent Leads which match the first web form spam Lead will simply update the matching Lead and no notification emails will be sent.
- Is RingLead GDPR compliant?

- How does RingLead’s duplicate detection algorithm work?
Of course, all of our de-duplication pitches wouldn’t mean anything if we had no algorithm to back them up. Our algorithm scans any number of fields in your database in order to identify potential duplicates. Our algorithm’s process of comparing these fields and flagging potential duplicates has been consistently refined and improved over the years as RingLead has scanned millions of records.
- Which Salesforce objects does RingLead find matches?
Virtually any Salesforce custom or standard object. For web forms and lists, by default our duplicate prevention programs go through four simple steps in order to identify if there’s duplicates in your system. First, we search for a matching Contact. If a match is found, the existing Contact is updated and notifications are sent based upon configurations. If no matching Contact is found, RingLead searches for a matching Lead. Then if a match is found, the existing Lead is updated and notifications are sent based upon configurations. Then if no matching Lead is found, RingLead searches for an matching Account. If a match is found, a new Contact may be created or a new Lead can be created and linked to the matching Account, and notifications are sent based upon configurations set in the RingLead UI. Finally, after the program is certain that the new person isn’t already in the system, we create a new Lead based on user-defined presets.
